Stop smoking :)
Into my second week of quitting smoking and its going quite well :) I can feel my lungs can take deeper breaths. Now, if only I can shake this cold. Haven’t been able to run for a week now. And my next race is coming up (3rd July). Need to get back to training…
Thank goodness for proper running socks. I got bored with blisters everytime I ran more than 10km so decided to invest in wicking, non-cotton socks. Result - they do work. Will test them properly this weekend when I have time for a long run.
WE 5th June - total distance 6.6miles (10.1km). Week included my 3rd race of 2011 where I got a PB (Race for Life 5k, Crystal Palace 5th June). 2 sessions. WE 12th June - total distance 8.3 miles (13.3 km). 2 sessions. Now have a few weeks until my next race on July 3rd (Race for Life 5k, Blackheath) so will be training hard.
